Refund Policy

Who issues refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about orders and payments and handles returns.

Refunds are therefore paid by Paddle, to the payment method used for the order, in line with Paddle’s buyer terms. This policy describes when we agree to a refund; it does not reduce any right that the buyer terms or the law give you.

What you buy

Course AI Builder is sold per course, in one-off packs:

Each pack is a single payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Purchased courses never expire. A course from your balance is used when you start generating it. The free trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund for it.

14-day money-back guarantee

If you have not generated any course from a pack, you can ask for a full refund of that pack within 14 days of the purchase, for any reason. This applies to consumers and businesses alike.

Unused courses in a pack

If you have started using a pack, you can ask within 14 days of the purchase for a refund of the courses in it that you have not used. The refund is the pack price divided by the number of courses in the pack, multiplied by the number of unused courses. For example, if you bought 5 courses and used 2, the refund is 3 fifths of the pack price.

When a refund is made, the refunded courses are removed from your balance. The features a purchase unlocks stay available only while your account holds at least one purchase that has not been fully refunded. Courses you have generated stay in your account.

Courses already generated

A course is used when you start generating it, and generation consumes AI processing that we pay for. Courses already generated are therefore not refunded, except:

• where the law requires a refund, for example because the service was not provided as described; or
• where a fault on our side prevents the course from being produced and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time. In that case we return the course to your balance or, if you prefer, ask Paddle to refund it.

Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU, EEA and UK

If you buy as a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the law gives you 14 days from the purchase to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.

Generating a course is the supply of digital content. Before a course is generated, you are asked to agree that we start supplying it immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that course once its generation has started. Your right of withdrawal therefore ends for each course you generate, and stays in place for the courses you have not used.

In practice, our 14-day guarantee gives you at least what the law requires: within 14 days of purchase you can withdraw from, and get a refund for, every course you have not used. To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@courseaibuilder.com, or use the withdrawal or refund option in the order emails from Paddle.

After 14 days

After 14 days, unused courses are not refunded, except where the law requires it. They do not expire and stay in your balance for later use.

If we close your account without cause, or stop offering the service, we will refund the courses you have not used, as the Terms of Service state.

How to ask for a refund

• Use the link in the receipt email from Paddle, or look up your order at paddle.net and request a refund there; or
• write to support@courseaibuilder.com from your account email address, with the order or invoice number from the Paddle receipt.

We reply within two business days. Once a refund is approved, Paddle processes it; your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show it.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank, so that we can resolve it quickly.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes do not affect purchases made before the update.
