Scope

This policy applies to everything you upload to Course AI Builder, everything you generate with it, and the way you use the service. It forms part of the Terms of Service. The usage policies of the AI providers we use also apply to the content you submit, and this policy reflects them.

Content you may not upload or generate

  • Content that is illegal where you or your learners are, or that promotes illegal activity.
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including documents you do not have permission to use for this purpose.
  • Personal data of other people without a lawful basis, and special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or political opinions) unless you have a clear legal ground and it is needed for the course.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, or incites hatred or violence against people or groups.
  • Instructions that enable serious harm, such as making weapons, explosives or dangerous substances, or attacking computer systems.
  • Deceptive or harmful training content: courses designed to mislead learners, spread disinformation, promote scams, or teach unsafe practices as safe.
  • Content that impersonates a person or organisation, or falsely claims an endorsement, accreditation or official status.
  • Content that depicts, imitates or makes claims about the likeness, voice or identity of a real person, including public figures.
  • Images of people or human faces. The service does not generate images of people; do not try to make it do so, for example through instructions or uploaded material.

Uses that are not allowed

  • Presenting AI-generated content, scores or feedback as the assessment or judgement of a human expert or assessor, or using generated quizzes as the only basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person.
  • Removing or altering the AI-generated marking of packages in a way that misleads learners or breaches transparency obligations that apply to you.
  • Attempting to extract, reveal or reconstruct the instructions, prompts or configuration the service uses, or to bypass its safety measures.
  • Probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of the service, or circumventing access controls, account separation, course counting or trial limits.
  • Automated or bulk generation, including scripts that drive the application, or using several accounts to obtain repeated free trials.
  • Impersonating another person when signing up or contacting us.
  • Reselling or providing access to the service to third parties as your own product without our written agreement.
  • Using the service to build a competing product or a dataset for training AI models.
  • Uploading malware or files designed to damage or overload the service.
  • Interfering with other customers’ use of the service.

Your responsibility for learners

You decide who your courses reach. Check that the content is suitable for your learners’ age, context and jurisdiction, and that it complies with the rules of your sector.

Enforcement

If we believe this policy has been broken, we may remove or disable content, limit features, stop running generations, or suspend or close the account. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may report illegal content to the competent authorities.

Reporting

Report content or use that breaks this policy to support@courseaibuilder.com. Include enough detail for us to find it.
